Henryk Tennenbaum (1881– 1946) – profesor ekonomii w Szkole Głównej Handlowej, prowadził m.in. badania nad strukturą gospodarczą Polski. „Polityka gospodarcza Anglii” została napisana w Londynie, w czasie 16- tygodniowego pobytu autora w Anglii do marca 1921 r. Publikacja zawiera dane statystyczne i porównawcze w rozwoju gospodarczym (w stosunku do innych państw), rodzaje inwestycji zagranicznych, przedstawiona została Anglia jako kupiec i dystrybutor surowców etc. (Przed rozdziałem pierwszym podane są inne tytuły tegoż autora).
