Dzieło współtwórcy reformacji i najbliższego współpracownika Marcina Lutra - Philippa Melanchthona (1497-1560). Traktat poświęcony "duszy". Autor podejmuje temat - czym jest dusza, w którym miejscu się znajduje, omawia poglądy filozofów oraz kościoła na ten temat. Oprócz tego pojawia się rozbudowane omówienie części ciała, podane po łacinie i częściowo w grece.
