Kieszonkowe wydanie berlińskiego kalendarza – czasopisma periodycznego, zawierającego przyczynki z różnych dziedzin sztuki i nauki, utwory beletrystyczne, doniesienia o aktualnej sytuacji politycznej (np. tom z 1832 r. – informacja o wojnie wyzwoleńczej w Grecji). Właściwy kalendarz zajmuje pierwsze strony wydawnictwa. Tomy zawierają poza tym drzewa genealogiczne dynastii panujących w Europie. Czasopismo wydane bardzo estetycznie: złocone karty, oprawy z tłoczeniami, w tekście duża ilość rycin wykonanych w miedziorycie lub stalorycie (portrety, mapy, plany militarne, widoki, pałace i zamki etc.) (wymiary: 12,5 x 9,5 cm , od roku 1846 - zmiana formatu 17 x 12, 5 cm). Na frontyspisach portrety członków rodziny królewskiej, na ogół pruskich księżniczek i żon pruskich książąt (rok 1828 - Marie, żona Karola Pruskiego, 1831 – Marianna Orańska, żona Albrechta Pruskiego, 1846 – Maria Luiza Anna – córka Karola Pruskiego). Biblioteka Elbląska w swoich zbiorach posiada roczniki z lat 1828-1849 (15 wol.)
