Tekst krótkiej sztuki teatralnej, której główną bohaterką jest królowa angielska Maria II. ze Stuartów (poza nią w utworze występuje także jej mąż król Wilhelm, arcybiskup Cantenburry, biskup Londynu, damy dworu i arystokratki). Sztuka ułożona została dla potrzeb scenki z figurami woskowymi, wykonanymi przez Johann Heinricha Schalch’a. J. H. Schalch (1623 –ok.1704) był tworzącym w szwajcarskim mieście Schaffhausen rzeźbiarzem w wosku. Tworzył on figury woskowe naturalnej wielkości, przedstawiające mu współczesnych, które następnie grupował w barokowe sceny, które pokazywano w wielu krajach Europy. Jednym z jego dzieł była „Królowa Anglii Maria II. na łożu śmierci”. Poza figurami woskowymi znanych jest kilka rysunków i rycin autorstwa Schalch’a, jak również reklama jego przyrządów meteorologicznych. Oprawa druku - tektura (marmurek).
